The Southern DHB requires a Consultant Radiologist to join a dedicated team of like-minded professionals, committed to providing top-quality community care. Based in the vibrant university city of Dunedin there is so much to do.
The two main hospitals in the region are in Dunedin and Invercargill cities and both are affiliated with the University of Otago Medical School and offer opportunities for teaching and research. Dunedin Hospital is a tertiary level hospital with 350 beds; Invercargill hospital is a modern 160-bed secondary care facility.
This role offers a challenging and varied workload including General Radiology and on-call duties (as per roster). Workload includes elective, Emergency Department, and Inpatient cases; the role also involves the supervision and mentoring of radiology registrars.

You must hold Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologist (RANZCR), or an equivalent Board Fellowship, together with Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) registration, and STAT Recruitment can assist with the application and processing.
