North Island, New Zealand — We are looking for a respiratory physician to join our team based on the North Island of New Zealand.
The respiratory team includes nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, sleep and respiratory laboratory technicians/ physiologists, and respiratory physiotherapists. The service provides comprehensive specialist outpatient and inpatient respiratory services, and primary health care support. Supporting services on site include radiology, nuclear medicine, radiation and medical oncology, and pathology laboratory.
The position involves the provision of general respiratory inpatient and outpatient services, including fiberoptic bronchoscopy and reporting on sleep studies and respiratory lung function tests. Knowledge and ability to manage cystic fibrosis patients and any experience in the supervision of respiratory function laboratory is desirable.
