The position:
This vibrant location on the North Island offers multicultural urban living, bush clad mountains, lush farmlands and more. Its pleasant climate means that the area has become a favourite for holiday makers, retirees and those looking for a different lifestyle outside of the main cities.
About the Role:
This is a full-time permanent position and will suit a Gastroenterologist seeking a great work/life balance.
An average work schedule could look like:
6 clinical sessions: 4 patient facing, 2 non-patient facing
2 non-clinical sessions: to pursue research or contribute to service development etc
2 off sessions: these may be used to pursue private practice once the initial 12 months probationary period is complete
On-call commitment is light, approximately 1:8 weekends required
