A full-time opportunity is available for a Senior Medical Officer in Medical Oncology to join one of New Zealand’s leading cancer centres, based in the Waikato region. The role offers a stimulating mix of inpatient care, outpatient clinics, and systemic therapy delivery, with access to advanced facilities. Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience and expertise in Medical Oncology
Subspecialty interests will be considered
Hold post graduate specialist qualifications and registration in Medical Oncology
Be eligible for an Annual Practicing Certificate and vocational scope of Medical Oncology with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing medical education.

Health New Zealand has a Collective Employment Agreement in place across all their Districts offering:
Annual leave: 6 weeks
CME Allowance and Leave – $16,000/2 weeks
$185,000 – $268,000 Base salary + allowances for job size, on call and availability.
Reimbursement of APC, college membership, and indemnity insurance.
