Consultant Paediatric Nephrologist is needed to join the nationally recognised Paediatric Kidney Service at Starship Children’s Hospital, Auckland. This is a rare opportunity to contribute to New Zealand’s only national centre for paediatric nephrology, dialysis, and transplantation. The successful candidate will join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team delivering inpatient, outpatient, and outreach care across Aotearoa.

Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience and expertise in Paediatric Nephrology
Subspecialty interests will be considered but Nephrology is required in this role
Hold post graduate specialist qualifications and registration in Paediatrics
Be eligible for an Annual Practicing Certificate and vocational scope of Paediatrics with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing medical education.

Health New Zealand has a Collective Employment Agreement in place across all their Districts offering:
Annual leave: 6 weeks
CME Allowance and Leave – $16,000/2 weeks
$185,000 – $268,000 Base salary + allowances for job size, on call and availability.
Reimbursement of APC, college membership, and indemnity insurance.
