Step into a Gastroenterology role where clinical impact meets lifestyle excellence. Palmerston North Hospital is seeking a Consultant Gastroenterologist to lead and deliver high-quality care across a broad scope of practice, including outpatient procedures, ERCP, liver elastography, and participation in the national bowel screening programme.

Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience and expertise in Gastroenterology
Subspecialty interests will be considered.
Hold post graduate specialist qualifications and registration in Internal Medicine with sub specialism in Gastroenterology.
Be eligible for an Annual Practicing Certificate and vocational scope of Internal Medicine with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing medical education.

Health New Zealand has a Collective Employment Agreement in place across all their Districts offering:
Annual leave: 6 weeks
CME Allowance and Leave – $16,000/2 weeks
$185,000 – $268,000 Base salary + allowances for job size, on call and availability.
