A renowned hospital in Dubai is seeking a highly qualified Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist (Arabic-speaking) to join its multidisciplinary women’s health service. The role offers the opportunity to practice at a consultant level in a highly advanced, patient-centred environment with state-of-the-art facilities, strong nursing and midwifery support, and a diverse international patient population.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive consultant-level care in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, including antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care
Manage normal and high-risk pregnancies in collaboration with neonatology, anaesthetics, and the maternal–fetal medicine team. - Perform elective and emergency gynaecological procedures according to the scope of practice
- Conduct outpatient clinics, ultrasound reviews (if accredited), and follow-up consultations
- Participate in on-call and emergency obstetric cover as per the rota
- Maintain clear, culturally sensitive communication with patients and families, particularly Arabic-speaking patients
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care
- Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory, ethical, and hospital policies
Essential Requirements
- Board-certified / Specialist registered Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist
- Eligibility for the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) Consultant licence
Minimum 3 years’ post-specialist / consultant-level experience - Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written)
- Strong experience in both obstetrics and gynaecology
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
