Breast Imaging Radiologist – Dubai

Our client, a leading healthcare provider in Dubai, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Breast Imaging Radiologist to join their radiology department. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive breast imaging services, ensuring accurate diagnostics and high-quality patient care in accordance with UAE healthcare regulations and international best practices.

Clinical Responsibilities

Interpret and report breast imaging studies, including:

• Digital Mammography (2D & 3D Tomosynthesis)
• Breast Ultrasound
• Breast MRI
• Screening and diagnostic mammograms

Perform image-guided interventional procedures, including:

• Ultrasound-guided core biopsies
• Stereotactic biopsies
• MRI-guided biopsies
• Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA)
• Wire localization procedures
• Correlate imaging findings with clinical and histopathological results.
• Participate in multidisciplinary breast tumor board meetings.
• Provide second opinions when required.

Regulatory & Quality Compliance

• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards set by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and other relevant UAE authorities.
• Maintain high standards of reporting accuracy and turnaround time.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives and clinical audits.
• Comply with radiation safety and infection control policies.

Patient & Team Collaboration

• Communicate findings clearly and compassionately to patients.
• Obtain informed consent prior to procedures.
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, oncologists, pathologists, and referring physicians.

Administrative & Academic Duties

• Maintain accurate documentation within electronic medical record systems.
• Supervise and support radiographers and junior staff as required.
• Participate in Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities.
• Contribute to teaching and research initiatives where applicable.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent).
• Completion of an accredited Radiology Residency program.
• Fellowship training in Breast Imaging (preferred).

Certification & Licensing

• Board Certification in Radiology (e.g., American Board, FRCR, European Board, or equivalent).
• Eligibility for or active medical license with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of post-board experience in breast imaging.
• Experience in a high-volume breast imaging center preferred.
• Proficiency in advanced breast imaging modalities including tomosynthesis and MRI.
