A premier, internationally accredited hospital group in the United Arab Emirates is expanding its thoracic and cardiac imaging services and seeking a highly skilled Board‑Certified Cardiothoracic Radiologist. The successful candidate will have advanced expertise in thoracic imaging, cardiac CT/MRI, and general body cross‑sectional imaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert interpretation of cardiothoracic imaging including:CT chest (HRCT, ILD, oncology, trauma)
- MRI chest
- Cardiac CT (coronary calcium scoring, CTA)
- Cardiac MRI (function, viability, cardiomyopathy protocols)
- Chest X‑rays including ICU/ED imaging
- Perform or supervise cardiothoracic procedures (optional):CT‑guided lung biopsies
- Thoracentesis or drain placements (depending on skillset and facility)
- Produce precise, timely diagnostic reports for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency cases.
- Participate in multidisciplinary discussions with: Pulmonology Cardiology
- Cardiothoracic surgery
- Oncology
- Contribute to protocol optimization for cardiac MRI, CTA, and thoracic CT.
- Support departmental quality improvement, peer review, and workflow innovation.
- Optional involvement in teaching or academic activities.
- Participate in a well-balanced on‑call rota (typically lighter than U.S. practice).
Required Qualifications (U.S. Candidates)
- American Board of Radiology (ABR) Certification in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Completion of an ACGME‑accredited fellowship in:Cardiothoracic Imaging or Thoracic Imaging or Cardiac Imaging
- Minimum 1–3 years post‑fellowship attending experience preferred, but newly qualified attendings welcome.
- Strong competency in both thoracic and cardiac CT/MRI.
- Excellent English communication skills.

Preferred Experience (Not Essential)
- Advanced cardiac MRI (T1/T2 mapping, perfusion)
- Lung cancer screening program experience
- Experience in tertiary/quaternary thoracic centres
- Pulmonary hypertension imaging
- ILD specialist imaging
- Academic, research, or leadership experience
