A renowned, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the United Arab Emirates is recruiting an experienced Board‑Certified Body Radiologist to join its growing advanced imaging department. The ideal candidate brings expertise in abdominal and pelvic imaging, cross‑sectional oncology, hepatobiliary imaging, GU imaging, and general body MRI/CT.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret a wide range of body imaging studies, including:CT and MRI of the abdomen and pelvis
- GI and GU imaging
- Oncologic imaging (staging and follow‑up)
- Liver, pancreas, biliary, and renal imaging
- Body ultrasound (diagnostic ± interventional depending on skillset)
- Optional procedural skills depending on facility:CT‑guided biopsies
- US‑guided biopsies, drainages, aspirations
- Produce high‑quality, timely diagnostic reports.
- Collaborate closely with oncology, gastroenterology, hepatology, urology, and surgery departments.
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumour boards and case discussions.
- Contribute to imaging protocol development and workflow optimisation.
- Assist in departmental teaching or training if desired.
- Participate in a light radiology on‑call schedule.
Required Qualifications (U.S. Candidates)
- ABR Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology (required).
- Completion of an ACGME‑accredited Body/Abdominal Imaging Fellowship (required).
- 2+ years post‑fellowship experience preferred, but newly qualified attendings welcome.
- Strong competency in cross‑sectional body imaging (MRI, CT, Ultrasound).
- Excellent English communication skills.
General Requirements
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural clinical environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient‑centred care.
- Experience with modern RIS/PACS workflows.
- Willingness to complete the DHA (Dubai) or DOH (Abu Dhabi) licensing process (fully supported).
Preferred Experience (Not Required)
- Advanced oncologic body MRI
- Elastography, bowel imaging, and MR enterography
- Prostate MRI (PI‑RADS)
- Liver imaging (LI‑RADS)
- Research, teaching, or academic involvement
- Experience in high‑volume U.S. private practice or academic centres
