A leading private hospital group in Dubai is seeking a highly qualified Attending Musculoskeletal Radiologist to join its expanding imaging department. The successful candidate will have strong expertise in MSK imaging, including trauma, sports medicine, oncology, and arthritis‑related conditions, while maintaining competency in general cross‑sectional radiology.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret a broad range of MSK imaging studies, including:MRI and CT of joints, bones, and spine
- X‑ray interpretation for sports injuries and trauma
- MSK ultrasound (diagnostic ± interventional depending on skillset)
- Perform or supervise MSK‑related procedures, such as:Ultrasound‑guided injections
- CT‑guided biopsies
- Joint aspirations (optional based on facility needs)
- Produce timely, high‑quality structured reports.
- Collaborate with orthopaedics, sports medicine, rheumatology, ED, and oncology for multidisciplinary care.
- Participate in MDT meetings and departmental improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to protocol optimisation and high imaging standards.
- Optional teaching or mentoring of junior radiologists.
- Participate in a light on‑call rotation.
Required Qualifications (U.S. Candidates)
- ABR Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Completion of an ACGME‑accredited MSK Fellowship (1 year).
- Minimum 2+ years post‑training experience preferred, but new attendings also considered.
- Demonstrated competency in MSK MRI, CT, ultrasound, and related procedures.
- Fluent in English (Arabic not required).
General Requirements
- Strong communication and report‑writing skills.
- Ability to work well in a multicultural team environment.
- Proficiency with modern RIS/PACS systems.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering evidence‑based, patient‑centred care.
- Willingness to obtain a Dubai Health Authority (DHA) or DHCC license (full support provided).
Preferred Experience (Not Mandatory)
- Sports medicine imaging for elite athletes
- Orthopaedic oncology imaging
- Spine imaging and interventions
- Rheumatology imaging (e.g., inflammatory arthritis, metabolic bone disease)
- Academic or teaching experience
- Prior experience in U.S. academic or high‑volume private practice settings
