The location provides a comprehensive tertiary Haematology service to 300,000 people in the Southern region of New Zealand. There is an integrated laboratory component. The hospital can offer the opportunity to accommodate a specialist interest. Inquiries from general/malignant haematologists as well as coagulation sub-specialists, therefore, are welcomed. Applicants must have completed specialist training and be eligible for Vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand to be considered for this role. Please note although the location is seeking someone to work now, there is flexibility on dates as they really want someone to just come in for a few months or more to assist in the service.
