The Role
An exciting opportunity is available for a Consultant Physician in general medicine to join a dynamic multidisciplinary team of clinicians providing comprehensive medical services to the patients of South West Health Campus.
As the Consultant you will undertake direct clinical care of patients within the Geraldton Hospital, especially in acute care and the High Dependency Unit. You will also supervise and teach junior medical staff, evaluate quality of care and outcomes and implement programs to enhance quality. You must be eligible for registration by the Medical Board of Australia and have demonstrated skills in General Medicine, High Dependency Care and Coronary Care.
The Bunbury Hospital will be undergoing significant capital works, including an expected helipad, in the next few years to meet the increasing demand for high quality clinical services within the South West of Western Australia. Clinical services are expanding to meet increasing regional demand.
What are we looking for?
Applicants should be registered (or eligible for registration) as a specialist with the Medical Board of Australia and be a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent as an overseas trained specialist who has completed their training in either the UK, Ireland, Canada, USA or New Zealand.
