- Typically 4 shifts per week
- Morning and afternoon shifts
- Night call with afternoon shifts
- 120 patients per day in the ED
- 10% minor trauma, 5% geriatric, 15% ortho, 3% pediatric, and acute medical/surgery
- About 200 severe trauma cases per year
