A hospital in the lower North Island region of New Zealand has a number of positions in the following areas:
• Inpatient Service
• Crisis team
• Forensic Service
• Adult Community
• Child and Adolescent
Successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring that all necessary clinical steps are taken to assist clients to achieve optimal health, well-being, and safety through the provision of appropriate assessment, intervention, and education.
The hours for their vacancies vary from full-time and part-time so do detail which area of Psychiatry you prefer to work in and we will follow up on what hours are available particularly for that area. The aim for the service is to hire candidates that wish to stay long term and are eligible for Vocational Registration with MCNZ but for those looking at a shorter stay for 6-12 months via the SPLT registration with MCNZ are still encouraged to apply as there are options to hire fixed term as well.
Salary and remuneration package to be discussed as it will depend on experience but relocation assistance is offered to candidates coming from abroad to work in NZ on fixed term or permanent contracts.
