Coastal North Island — Are you a consultant anesthetist looking for an exciting opportunity? A North Island, New Zealand hospital is seeking a talented individual like you to join their team for 9 – 12 months starting as soon as possible. As a Consultant Anesthetist, you will be responsible for conducting pre-op anaesthesia clinics, providing anaesthesia for elective and emergency surgery, participating in the perioperative management of post-op patients on the ICU/HDU and on the wards, preparing critically ill patients requiring transfer to tertiary centers, advising on pain management, and providing out-of-hours anaesthesia services to maternity, critical care, theatres, and the emergency department. You will also be encouraged to contribute to teaching for junior doctors and other disciplines and participate in the on-call roster.
